15 Fun Things to do in Quarantine
Schools are just starting to let out, and it’s becoming full-on summer. One may say that the summer season and the Covid19 quarantine don’t match up. That is the completely horrible, and also depressing truth. Yes, I know. Some things to be happy of, though, could be that quarantine is ending. Not all at once, but it is. Here is a list of things you could find yourself doing in June. (while in social distancing, of course)
- Going on a simple bike ride could do you much more good than you’d think.
- Walking. Alone, with family, it doesn’t matter. Not to just get the exercise you need, but also for the fun of it.
- Organizing your home. To most people, being in an organized and fit room can increase their happiness.
- Watching your favorite TV show or movie. (here are some recommendations; Shark Tank, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings) Get that popcorn poppin’!
- Play some of your favorite video games. (Minecraft, Roblox, and Fallout are pretty good)
- Simply reading a book. Many find this time great for getting into new genres!
- Putting some things aside that you’ve had for a while. Let the new decor shine!
- Even though board games are pretty last-decade, you can still enjoy your Monopoly and The Game of Life.
- Watch the spaceship takeoff! It is today, and get ready for some action. The big seed for this decades’ start.
- Learning something you didn’t know before. For instance, I started taking online ‘classes’ to learn Spanish! Another suggestion would be learning to stitch or sew.
- Keeping a journal could have a positive effect on your life and how you feel. Write on!
- Practicing. Studying. This is a big one because although it is quarantine, no one should be sleeping all day.
- Hobbies! What do you like to do besides computer games and reading? Try new things!
- Let your creativity out. Make a cool science project or model! Draw, glue, stick!
- Get on-call with your friends and play a game! (Good games include: Two Truths and A Lie, Truth or Dare, or Mad Libs)
